I just got Costco’s new Roland RFP-Nuvola bundle. It does seem like a variation of the FP-30X, with subtle cosmetic variations and small internal differences e.g. a slightly different song/sound list and upgraded Bluetooth (v5.0). I recommend comparing the user manuals on Roland’s website to see the details.
I think the stand and pedal bar look great! Note that the bundle’s bench does not have storage.

I’m so tempted to buy this as my first piano! As far as I could tell from the user manual, it uses less power than the fp-30x so it might have different speakers. Lmk how you enjoy it!

Hi all,
Can someone tell me more about the Roland pianos on sale at Costco currently? There are three I am looking at:
FRP Nuvola $599 on sale

They all appear to be bundles and include the same things, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Since they are Costco specific models, it's been hard to find good information on these. Also, I'd like to know the technical differences between these as well as how they sound and play. Many thanks!

I'd be curious about the keyboard feel more than anything else. Have been playing on a KR-15 mini-grand for many years and have yet to see or hear a mass-produced instrument that comes as close to feeling and sounding like a decent acoustic piano.

I think there are more sounds on the app as well - three pedal system vs one, you can bluetooth a tablet or phone to have the other pedals page turn for you - headphone jacks: 1/4 + 1/8 (3.5mm), if you're plugging in somewhere 1/4th is much more universal and professional plug type, its also on the front of the piano vs the back, you can use one of these for line out. From what I read the FRP-2 (FP-10) is pretty much absolute on the beginner side the Nuvola is somewhere between prosumer/intermediate or just a step above beginner.
