I know nothing about pianos but have been thinking of getting a digital one for many months now. I want to get my 7 and almost 6 year old started on lessons and I definitely don’t want to buy an upright one. Those who know a thing or two about pianos, would this be a good one for the purpose I’m looking for? Is it a good quality? Would love any advice or insight. Reviews seem good but would love to hear more from anyone here. Thanks in advance.

I'm a private piano teacher and recommend this piano to my students as a good beginner and intermediate piano. Not quite one I'd take on stage but a great piano for the price.

I got this over a year ago and have liked it a lot. It’s the only digital keyboard I’ve ever owned so I’m not an expert, but I did a lot of research before making such a big purchase and pretty much came to the conclusion that this particular model was the best you are gonna get in terms of quality for the price. It’s called a Roland fp-10 if you want to research it more for yourself. The keyboard itself has next to no features, it’s as barebones as it gets. It’s got a few sound presets and a metronome, that’s pretty much it. The price goes all into the hammer action which feels really nice and real. It does double as a midi, I would hook it up to my laptop to get some nice sounds out of it. For the bundle the stand is decent, it’s got no issues so far. The stool is good and sturdy after continuous use, headphones are decent quality. The pedal is pretty much garbage, I’ve personally never bothered to replace it and it works fine still, but if you want your kids to learn on proper pedals you should swap it out. One nitpick about the piano is sometimes certain keys would start to make grating noises when pressed after some use. I read a tip somewhere to tilt the piano 90 degrees so the keys are facing away from you and press the problem key a bunch. It would work, and that issue occurred maybe 5 or six times over the course of like 3, 4 months and it went away completely. I tried to give you as much info as I can think of, definitely one of the better options for a digital piano imo, especially if just starting out. if u have any questions just ask. Hi all,
Can someone tell me more about the Roland pianos on sale at Costco currently? There are three I am looking at:

They all appear to be bundles and include the same things, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Since they are Costco specific models, it's been hard to find good information on these. Also, I'd like to know the technical differences between these as well as how they sound and play. Many thanks!

I'd be curious about the keyboard feel more than anything else. Have been playing on a KR-15 mini-grand for many years and have yet to see or hear a mass-produced instrument that comes as close to feeling and sounding like a decent acoustic piano.
