Hi all, I'm on my way to Hawaii from Australia and looking to pick up a watch4 while I'm there. Ideally after a classic 42mm with or without LTE.
Can anyone guide me on the current best prices for these? The Costco website won't let me sign in with my Australian account but if they are better priced elsewhere, I'd love to know.
TIA
Edit: spelling
Costco is selling the watch for $149. It doesn't show on the website but the item number is 1847862. Call around to see if they have it in stock.
My local Costco is clearancing out black Galaxy watch 6 for $150. I have had 5 fitbits but my most recent died on me last night (they all have after less than 2 years of use) and I need something new.
I love the way the watch looks and would surely be a huge upgrade in terms of style and core functionality but I use a newer Google pixel and not a Samsung phone. My research on this sub indicates that the watch will have limitations as a result.
What do you guys think? For the price and with my phone considered, would you do it?
Anyone else bought a Galaxy watch from Costco but are dealing with Samsung not honoring the warranty when it has not been 2 years?
I bought a Galaxy Watch Active 2 in August of 2020, and now it has screen issues. The battery first died completely somehow within 12 hours which it has never done. Upon it turning back on after charging it, the screen is all green and flickering with horizontal lines. The touch screen barely works. You can sort of swipe, but there is almost no registration of tapping. I contacted Costco concierge and they said they do not oversee smart watches and recommended talking to Costco warehouse. I talked to the returns/customer service at a Costco warehouse, and they said the warranty is with Samsung/the manufacturer and to contact them. I contacted Samsung and they said based on the serial number, it's 1 year warranty and that all of their products only have 1 year warranty. The person was confused and was wondering where I was getting 2 years from. I told him that Costco offers a 2 year warranty and that he can check that even the newer Watch 4 has the same 2 year warranty advertised. Despite telling the person that, he did not want to investigate further and said I will have to pay for any repairs and that it only had 1 year warranty. They asked if I dropped the watch and if there's water damage. I told them no, I've never dropped it and that I do not believe there should be any water damage as I do not swim nor shower or anything like that with it on.
At this point, I have an almost $300 paperweight. That's a huge amount for me. Ridiculous
