membership wireless(costco) s20 fe 5g deal
Just took advantage of this right now. Traded in my old Pixel 3a XL (They gave me $66 bill credits for it) the balance $364 comes via Visa Gift Card. The guy who helped me at the wireless center was SUPER helpful. Filled out the rebate forms and paperwork to mail in the old phone. The whole procedure was super painless. Hardest part was waiting in line at Costco to pay for the phone. It was $629.99 plus California Tax.
When I got home got on the Promotions.t-mobile.com website and completed the rebate paperwork. Basically uploading a picture of the receipt and a picture of the box with the imei. I put the old phone in a box and attached the usps label and dropped it off at the post office. All in all very painless.
If you guys have questions ask away, I know paying the 629 up front sucks but it is MUCh better than 24 months of EIP in my book.

Costco Black Friday Deal on S20 FE
It doesn't require a new line right? It can just be an upgrade? without any trade-in requirements?
More on reddit.comThought I'd pass this offer around. Starting Friday Costco is offering the Galaxy S20FE for $350 on Verizon or a $350 gift card on ATT. I asked the rep at Costco today she mentioned it be ~14 weeks before you get your gift card (because they have a 90 days return policy). Seems likes a great deal, and plan on picking one up on Friday.

Holy shit. I thought I got a good deal during prime day with the unlocked version for $600.
It doesn't have UW so maybe I'll buy myself this for black Friday and sell the unlocked one on swappa.
Also most costco stores don't have Verizon kiosks? But this ad says in warehouse only?
My father (senior and veteran) is getting some crazy AT&T offers made to him from AT&T location in Costco, and is even getting a quote printout. Things like 6 lines unlimited plus new phones at $86 monthly for 3 years (to switch from Verizon) (Edit: they might be counting it as 5 lines plus a table or some such)
They include things like all new phones for all 6 of his lines free, including one or two new Samsung S25+ free (says it has credit of $55 a month for 3 years, based on an "Android Device Trade in Offer", which how in the world are they giving $2k trade in for an old S20 with a cracked screen that AT&T's own website says is worth $25 one time?? The guy supposedly entered in the old lines phone models showing on his account when my father logged into his verizon account to show him)
Like is this kinda thing possibly legit, or a salesman looking to score a commission and not caring if the phone bill in a month shows up as 3 times the cost showing in the quote?
Does the quote have any sorta standing if the bills are different?
I really appreciate some help here, thank you.
Edit some of this might be legit??: https://tradein.att.com/offer-details "Galaxy S25+ or S25 Ultra: Up to $1,000 max bill credit ($27.78/mo x 36 mos) when trading in any Samsung Galaxy S, Note or Z Series any year, any condition, or a smartphone valued at $35 or above after condition assessment."
Edit 2: And there's some significant credits too for any condition iphone, or high credits for iphone 12 or above valued at a certain trade in too, if it's toward an iphone 16.
Edit 3: Looks like the costco specific items might also be legit https://www.costco.com/att-brand-showcase.html $300 per line ($8.35 a month on a 3 year contract) and $100 costco gift card per line. So the 5 lines would get a credit of $41.75/month for the 3 years.
So trading in 2 old samsungs (perhaps not mine) plus an iphone, plus 5 lines porting. Dang, could that actually be 5 new phones on 5 lines (yeah it's the cheap unlimited plans but it's something) at $86 a month for 3 years? Sure it will double after 3 years to $162, but that's still like $100 less monthly than the price they are charging at verizon, and after 3 years can always look for another deal, or just stay pat to still save money over what he's paying now.
