Hello! Quick intro, new to this sub but been loyal to Costco since living in Mexico and having a membership there growing up. I live in the USA now and have officially been to all 3 North America Costco’s (Canada was fun with their food selection).
Has anyone gotten the sleeper sofa? It was my main option for a new couch but my brother and I couldn’t justify the $1300. Now it will be $900 in with couple days (starting March 5) and we could cancel our order from Ashley’s (Deltona Queen Sofa Sleeper) for the sleeper sofa we picked (that one legit will end up taking 4-5 weeks since we ordered it to arrive so we still have time to cancel. I like the Costco one cause it has outlets integrated and the chaise integrated. We have guests over 6-10 times a year that sleep over for 3-5 days at time so we want to make sure it’s both a comfortable couch for everyday use (we legit use the couch every day) but also for our guests. Thank you all!

I don’t have this particular couch, but I’ve done a ton of research on sleepers in general. This type isn’t very comfy. It’s not a true mattress that is folded out, the couch just opens and extends to a bed-like shape. I think kids might be okay crashing on it, but most adults aren’t going to have a good night. If I had this couch I’d let my guests have my bed and I’d suffer on the pull-out couch. If your couch from Ashley’s is a true mattress sleeper I’d stick with that.

February 7, 2024 - Never tried this, but we bought the ikea friheten after trying it out in store, and really like it. The best thing is that the backrest stays up even in sleeper mode, so ours is in sleeper mode 24/7. It was around $800 as well.
