I want to get a new TV for my living room from costco due to their good customer service. It’ll mainly be used for streaming apps (netflix, disney plus, etc). My couch is 3 meters away from the wall where I want to mount it, so I think 65 inches would be a good size for the room.
Here are the TVs I’m considering:
Hisense QD6QV (QLED) - $650
Samsung U7900F (LED) - $750
TCL Q7K (QLED) - $800
Which of these would be best? Are there other TVs I should be looking into instead? Cost is a major factor I want to consider and I would prefer to get it from Costco unless I can get a good sale elsewhere.
Hi all, im shopping for a 65 inch tv for my living room which you can also see from the kitchen. What are y'all eyeing and buying right now?
Hello folks. I’m not nearly as into the whole home theater things as y’all are. For instance, we have an entry level Yamaha 5.1 sound system/receiver that does everything we need.
Now, our 9 year old Vizio M50-D1 that has a pretty noticeable dark spot taking up about 1/5 of the right 1/3 of the screen.
We use a PS5 as our media center. Everything is done via the PS5.
e-ARC / HDR is important, as is speed and responsiveness of the TV’s software. We have a somewhat bright room - full wall of windows that receive indirect light. It hasn’t been a big issue on the Vizio except on really bright summer days.
I would like to keep the price under $600 if possible, under 65 inches. Maximum width of TV needs to be 57 inches or less.
Would love some recommendations!
I’m exhausted from researching TVs. There are a million different model numbers and most of the ones on Costco are specific to them, so the ratings sites aren’t much help. We watch very little sports and do no gaming.
For $650, I can get a Sony Bravia 2 model K65S20CM2B.U2 or a TCL QM6 QD Mini LED model 65QM6K. I trust Sony more but the TCL has better specs.
65" Sony Bravia Mini-LED ($999) or a 75" LG 4kUHD ($549)
This will be going in the bedroom where we watch movies and play a little bit of video games. The room has 2 windows but not too much light comes in, as well as we have black-out curtains so lighting/brightness is not typically an issue. We just want something that will last and will keep an excellent picture quality for at least 3-5 years until we decide to upgrade.
Thank you in advance!
