There are other companies that will offer similar quality furniture. Some of the things to note, Costco sofas will use tons of plywood in construction that will break down over time. Also, the cushion density is low, so the cushions will lose shape and comfort over time. The sofas that Costo offers simply won't last and won't hold up. March 26, 2025Thinking about getting a Costco Couch but they are all "Costco Direct" items. Is there any possible way to try out and sit on a Costco Couch before purchasing?
Yes. Costco Direct means direct from the manufacturer, so these are all branded items. Google the brand and name of couch, and see If your local Furniture store has it on the show room floor. Just by googling the one in the picture, I see that MY local Living Spaces has it. Bonus if the furniture store has it for cheaper on sale and free delivery. More on reddit.com

October 29, 2024Are Costco sofas worth it, specifically the Thomasville Tisdale or similar?
We bought a Tisdale last year and love it. Super sturdy with dogs and I’d imagine with kids - it’s a perfect family room or basement couch. I don’t know if I’d pay $2k for it though. At that price point you could go to Crate and Barrel or Room and Board. More on reddit.com

We just got the Coddle Aria sleeper sofa and absolutely love it. It’s not a sleeper in the traditional sense. It’s an easy to pull out section that as we see turns every spot into a chaise. I’m looking for a new couch or sectional and I’m wondering how the ones from Costco are and hold up.
Do the sectional sections slid apart from each other easily?
How do the cushions hold up from repeated use?
~ $1500 spending limit.
I’m a big guy with broad shoulders that likes to nap on the couch. My current couch is too narrow for me to lay on my back without my arm hanging off the side, which is what I’d like to avoid in a new couch or sectional.

i'm debating if the lovesac deal they have is worth it. i know it's expensive, but the modularity of replacing sections seems like a win when you have pets and toddlers haha
