The the questions I have are; when they say basic installation does that include stacking when I buy the stacking kit in the same purchase? Do I need to buy new hoses? It should be an easy delivery since it is in the garage with only one step and plenty of room. We are in Ventura County, CA if that helps. Thank you in advance for any assistance and/or advice

Yes. It means they won’t thread it through to another room or if there are any issues (like corroded faucets, in my case—they did everything but connect the hot water hoses), they won’t deal with them. They took pictures of what the issues were and sent them to Costco immediately.

My wife and I bought an LG washer dryer. We love the set but one issue of note. My wife had selected the washer/dryer with the stacking kit. Then she was doing price comparison and whatever she did removed the stacking kit. So I had to stack it myself later. It caused some issues because she was impatient and I didn't really have help to install it. We bought a new house and got the same kit combo. It arrives Saturday. With the stacking kit
