I have two dogs with no respect for furniture and the fabric remains in great shape. I have had it cleaned annually. Mine is comfortable - not stiff and it softened a bit but the bounce remains. Very comfortable, nice deep cushions, easy to assemble, all covers come off cushions and wash very nicely! Have had mine for 2+ years now and have no regrets, would purchase again.
