I guess I’m in the minority. We have it and I love it. I find it comfortable and we do switch it around so I love the modular part. Our dogs sleep on the back cushions so those are all smooshed down but eventually I’ll just restuff them. April 20, 2024Help!! Thomasville modular sectional - do the pieces lock in together so they don’t move and come apart when you’re sitting on them? Online reviews are not helpful and the one in the store was moving all over the place.
Yes they lock. The only exception is when you make it into the 3x2 configuration (like a big bed), the ottoman in the middle won’t be able to lock. Also when you take them apart (for cleaning, etc) make sure you don’t trip or stub your toe, hurts like a bitch. More on reddit.com

Hi all, we’ve had the Thomasville modular sofa for a few months now and have been struggling with the connectors between the sections, they just keep coming apart. We have concrete flooring which doesn’t help as it slides around, I’ve tried various grips for the feet and those last maybe a week or two before sliding off the foot. Is there maybe a better latch or mechanism I can buy and install? We really like the couch, it’s big, comfy, and light for rearranging and cleaning. But for the life of us, the “chaise” setup does not stay locked in.
