We bought a dryer about a month ago, and are happy with the product and the price. They had the same model at Lowes and Home Depot. We went to a Lowes to look at the model in person before ordering it, and also to do some price research. The base price was about $80 lower there, but then there were required charges on top of that for a new power cord and new vent kit. We also needed delivery and haul-away of our old, broken dryer. Adding those in resulted in the Lowes price being about $15 cheaper than Costco's price, which includes all four of those items. However, Lowes only had the one-year manufacturer's warranty included. If you wanted to extend it to 5 years, I think it was about another $100. Costco's price includes the 1-year manufacturer's warranty, and then a second year Costco warranty. Plus, with the Costco Citi Card, we got another 2 years added onto the end of that. Since we would have wanted the extended warranty if we got it at Lowes, it made sense to us to get it through Costco and pay with the Costco Citi Visa. This ended up being about $85 cheaper than through Lowes. Plus, it got it delivered in about 3 days. We were very satisfied with the delivery and setup process from Costco.
