Bought a Samsung Washer/Dryer set last March 3/30/23... we are two adults, so not a lit of laundry. By June we had already needed technicians out to fix both off them. I should have just returned them then, but didn't have anyway to physically get them back to the warehouse... two women, one is disabled, no truck, no help. They fixed tgem... sort of... We've had issues on and off. Now the Washer again is stuck, won't drain, burning smell.
Three times I've called Samsung and all three times they've gotten the tickets wrong.. likeIcalledand explainedthe Washerissues, the technicians calls to confirm coming this Thursday, FOR THE DRYER... he doesn't have a ticket for the Washer! I mean... are people just STUPID? I confirmed everything with the woman and she gets me to give her a 5 star survey then I find out she put in the wrong machine? Granted, there's little heat coming from the dryer, too.
Costco is taking back couches that are 2 years old because they don't like the color. 2 weeks ago we saw someone returned a TEN YEAR OLD MATTRESS because their back started hurting. But I can't return a LEMON machine padt 90 days??? There goes $1400. I'M NEVER BUYING APPLIANCES FROM COSTCO AGAIN, AND DEFINITELY NEVER BUYING SAMSUNG APPLIANCES AGAIN

The mistake you made here was buying a samsung appliance, as 10 seconds of research before making a $1400 purchase would have told you. However Samsung jokes aside, it looks like they are trying to fix the issue and you are being a difficult customer. You should contact Costco Concierge services though, appliances come with a 2 year warranty from Costco. https://www.costco.com/connection-at-your-service-concierge.html

I have a 2016 Samsung washer and dryer and the dryer drum has begun to stop spinning lately. It’s weird because it makes a sound like it’s trying to turn and I have to “loosen it” by opening the door, spinning the drum with my hand a couple full rotations, and THEN it will work… but if it stops, then it doesn’t start again. Someone told me this means the motor is probably dying and could cost $400+ at which point I’d rather just get a new one.
I know next to nothing about washers and dryers though. All I know is I don’t want Samsung and I want electric.
Anyone ordered any good ones from Costco that they’d recommend??

They all suck. They all seem to have major issues. When the current ones I have die im going to get Speedqueens. They at least arent designed to break after 2-3 years like modern ones. Also a massive, massive pain in the ass to get them to follow repair warranty unless you live in a city.
