I'm in search of a cotton comforter with cotton filling. After my preliminary research, I could see that entire bedding industry is flooded with cotton comforters with a polyester/down alternative filling. This has led me to question whether opting for a comforter with a cotton filling is the right choice, or if I should consider the more commonly available polyester-filled options. I would appreciate any guidance on this matter.

Quilted coverlet with cotton fill?
Linoto makes hefty linen quilt with cotton and you can even add wool but they are $$$. Crate and Barrel Belgian, not European, linen quilt is 100% cotton batting and you can get it at a decent price, under $200, during a sale. Piglet in bed has cotton and linen quilts with 80% cottons and 20% polyester and can be found at good $ during a sale. I got their cotton one during the new years sale this year. Buffy doesn’t have a quilt but a comforter that has bamboo filling instead of polyester or cotton. That’s all I have tried. My favorites so far are the Linoto and the Piglet. Interested to see other suggestions.
Edit: Morrow has a limited edition quilt with 100% cotton, but I haven’t tried that one.
