I’ve done lots of research and before my final decision wanted to hear if anyone would share their experience with percale sheets from American Blossom Linens, Red Land Cotton, Coyuchi, and Lands’ End. Or if there’s another great brand I’m missing. But I’m wanting to stay away from big marketing companies and those that were once beloved but have recently gone down in quality.
Overall looking for soft, crisp, and cool percale sheets best for hot sleepers in Texas. Max $400 for a queen. Ideally less. And while we’re at it: Suggestions for silk duvet and percale duvet cover? Or is there another combination I should be looking at?
TIA!
I am a hot sleeper. Usually don't use a top sheet because I just don't need the extra layers (because I also love a down comforter, so it's usually too much with both). Recently using the high thread count cotton Threshold from Target. Wanted an upgrade, decided to try Brooklinen, and based on my hot sleeper tendencies, decided to try the cotton percale. Went all out on sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases. Washed before using. After two nights, I had to change them out. Just soooooo incredibly rough, and quite hot to be honest. So, is cotton percale just not for me? Or is Brooklinen just not so good anymore? Reading reviews/posts, I'm getting a mixed bag of ideas.
