Hey guys I just switched to Intel and got the Aorus z390 master. Every time I booted it, itโs given a A0 code which I know is normal. But today I started it and it gave a code โ04โ, then I restarted my computer and it went back to โA0โ Was just wondering if โ04โ is normal?
I got the Xtreme-2080ti and 9900k
My previous 2 pcโs were Asus mainboards this time i was looking for something special so i said fuck it lemme get that Xtreme even the price was also Xtreme ๐ But as soon i opend the box and looked at it i fell in love with it it looks so freakin nice. You can tell its super high-end board. And it has all the cabels you would ever need + fan commander with 8 fan slots. So i put my 9900k in there and itโs running at 4900mhz without any OC settings just at default settings. Iโm waiting for my extra Fans to arrive so i have enough cooling before i start experimenting with some Overclocking and see what this beast is really capable off
04 or D4?

When I shut down my PC, or restart my PC, my Motherboard hangs up on Q-Code 04
-
Code meaning: PCH initialization after microcode loading
-
It will sit there for hours if I let it, and won't shut down.
-
It logs out of windows, shuts off my monitors (no video signal) but the lights stay on, and all the fans keep spinning, pump still pumps, etc.. but will not completely shut down
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
I had Cable Mod braided PSU extensions installed, I removed those, and it seemed to go away for a day, but now it's doing it again. Returned the extensions anyways.
I have tried disabling "fast boot" in bios, as I read someone suggested to do that in a prior model motherboard.
I tried moving my RAM to different slots.
I tried buying new RAM thinking the DIMMs may be faulty somehow.
I have disabled nearly everything in PCH that BIOS settings that I don't use.

This is a brand new build, 7 days old. I have never had this much trouble with a build before. The CPU is not Overclocked, but the RAM is set to XMP.
Hello all, I have a T430 PowerEdge server and the fan went bad a few days ago. After replacing the fan I got the error CPU0704 which I researched to be CPU 1 Machine check error detected, Reboot. I rebooted the server and checked the thermal paste and heatsink placement but have not been able to eliminate the error. It goes into a reboot loop and cannot access the OS. Any suggestions on how to test and confirm the CPU is cooked?
