hello i have a question, i have an 8700k and i want leave it at stock speed with turbo boost, i just enabled xmp profile. If i set CPU RATIO auto i have lower performance in gaming, if i set it Per Core ... but leave all core in auto, performance are fine, it's normal ? or something it's wrong?
Mb it's an Asus z370 pro-gaming
I have an i5-12400 paired with an ASUS Prime B660-plus motherboard. I was looking at the CPU options, and there is something called the "Performance Core Ratio". The options I can select are "auto" and "sync all cores". If I choose the "sync all cores" option, will that mean that the CPU can run at 4.4 GHz on ALL cores (instead of 4.0 GHz when all cores are utilized)?
Also, the PL1 and PL2 are 165w and 255w.
I originally posted it on r/intel, but thought it would be nice posting it here as well!
