Just curious about the best monitoring softwares for monitoring my hardware. Building a PC this weekend, just got all of the parts in and would like to get those early and be prepared for when I boot up for the first time to make sure everything is running ok. Thanks!
My laptop has a Ryzen 7 5800h and a gtx 1650

I'm looking for some software to monitor CPU temps on my newly built PC. Can someone point me in the right direction and are there any programs or software you would recommend?
Right now I'm using NZXT CAM, but CAM and my motherboard's software are giving me conflicting CPU temps
Built a new PC and just want to check.
Just got a new pc with an asus prime 9070xt and wanted to check that everything is running smoothly. What monitoring software does everyone personally use or should I just use the manufacturer one if they have one?
On Windows I use Open hardware monitor so something similar to that please?
This is a completely personal question and not a help post for monitoring my temps.
I'm curious how and how often you monitor your temps? Do you prefer third party software or software specific to your components? How often do you check your temps? All the time? First time on a specific game, once a week? Lemme hear how your monitor your temps. I made the mistake on my first PC of ignoring temps and I killed my GPU basically while not allowing my PC to breathe. Since then I've become obsessive almost, I always have programs running and constantly checking, obsessed with making sure my PC is clean and has adequate room to breathe. Let's hear your habits.
To view the CPU Temp in W11, do I need extra software or is there something in Windows I use to monitor it? The Performance section of Task Manager shows iGPU temp, but CPU. Using a MF UM790 w/32GB.
Hi all,
Is MSI Afterburner and the RivaTuner programme installed with it the best way to monitor temperatures in game (with an in-game overlay) ? Is there a better programme or is there a reason not to use this?
I'm just looking for something to look at the baseline for my new laptop and what effect the Llano cooler is having. Nothing special.
Thanks
I just find it unusual that despite virtually every mainstream x86 CPU having temperature information accessible by a third party application going all the way back to at least 2006 Microsoft haven't bothered to just put one in a version of Windows. I'm aware you can easily get a software like Core Temp and check it with literally two extra clicks, but it just seems like an essential like power usage for laptops and portable systems or a task manager.
I just got a cheap Dell Optiplex and threw a SSD in it, just finally figured out file sharing (still new to this). Planning to access the drives from my main PC & my Macbook. Is there a tool I can use to monitor the cpu temp of the server? Running normal windows 11 on the server/NAS pc since I have other plans for it as well.
Hey guys im new to macOS and i dont know what app i should use to monitor my temps
(Free app to monitor temps)
One with taskbar support to be able to see the temps easily would be nice too.
I currently use AMD processor, MSI Mobo and GPU rx 480
i have been using hwmonitor pro, but now you have pay for a licence and cant afford it, anyway is there a free software that can monitor temperatures?
I wanna use only Nvidia overlay for monitoring my system and uninstall Afterburner, but I can't see an option to add CPU temp, which I think it's very important
