How do I export CRA calculator results into accounting software?
Can I include one-time bonuses or commissions in the CRA pay calculator?
How often does the CRA update deduction rates in the PDOC?
Greetings All,
I have uncovered some inconsistencies while using the CRA Payroll calculator (Backstory we are implementing a new ERP and the payroll component is not "Adding Up").
I have reduced the calculator to what I'm calling barebones, CC0 for both Federal and Provincial TD1 Deductions and no CPP and no EI deductions... so to my understanding this should equate to only having the federal and provincial income tax calculated.
I used $1000/biweekly(26 Pays/year) which keeps the annual tax rate for both in the first tier of tax rates IE 15% Federal and 5.05% provincial ...
So my calculations have it at $150 for Federal and $50.50 for Provincial.
The online calculator has is $142.11 Federal and $62.04 provincial which is even more mind boggling as they are in different directions regarding the error amounts IE federal is lower and provincial is higher.
TIA if anyone has any insight into this

I was asking about this a few weeks back and just checked and found that the Payroll Deductions Online Calculator has been updated with 2025 rates for anyone who needs it.
