So I'm a transplant and have been here about 4 years now. I find the local CL here to be almost worthless. The last city I lived, I was able to buy/sell/trade no problems, but here it's a giant headache. Sellers have used junk and ask retail or more and buyers offer pennies on the dollar for your good stuff. The same handful of people have been selling the same junk for the entire 4 years I've been here and haven't reduced the price one time. People straight up begging for free stuff in every category and the free stuff page is full of people wanting you to come pick up their garbage they are too lazy to take to the dump. Is this the "American pickers" effect? Is everyone trying to flip everything for profit or what? I'm not a reseller, I just like to buy stuff but I am finding it impossible in this market. Is it just me?

Nashville's craigslist is super bloated. Is there an alternative for those of us looking to buy or sell cool stuff?
