I realize this may be a rather "niche" question so bear with me.
We need to buy a new living room sofa and it must be a sleeper for out of town guests. I realize this is not ideal, as they aren't typically great beds or great sofas. But I finally found one I like, the Willow slipcovered sleeper from Crate & Barrel. We sat on it the store and it was SHOCKINGLY comfortable which as you probably know is pretty unusual (they are typically either hard as a rock or you feel like you're sinking to the floor).
Unfortunately it was positioned in such a way that we couldn't pull it out to test the 5 1/2" mattress. I had originally wanted to purchase the air mattress version but it just went out of stock indefinitely, per CS (they hope to reorder in the future). Has anyone purchased and/or slept on a C&B sleeper sofa with the regular mattress? I'd love to hear your experience.

Any bed sofas the mattress is always on the soft side and tends to retain heat.Its fine for the overnight visitors but not great if your planning to use it as a main bed.
