If you're near a store you can usually get there floor items on clearance for steep discounts but most of the time you won't see anything over the 15% outside or special sales. If your looking for end tables with drawers and legs you can find cheaper options at ikea and Wayfair, but it's generally a step down in quality. More on reddit.com

Your damage would happen to any table from any manufacturer. It's your damage caused by you. No furniture finish will hold up to the way that you treated your furniture. I fix and finish furniture. I'm kinda a guru of finishing. So no, you're quite wrong about the furniture. I won't comment about Customer Service because maybe or maybe not that's their weak point. To fix your table, because of the abuse it's now been treated to, it needs refinishing. I'll desbribe my approach. I fix the dents and so the color touchups. Then I prep the entire top surface for respraying with lacquer. Your table has a lacquer finish, originally. Of course that will need a shop repair. For an in-home refinish, instead of lacquer, a waterbase finish can be sprayed. In-home finishing is, by nature, costly, maybe more expensive than having the table brought to a shop for refurbishment. Get a table pad for use with your table. That's what's been the American standard since the 1940's. No finish is bulletproof, not urethanes, not polyester, not conversion varnish, and certainly not lacquer. Really, you've maligned CB unjustafiably. You should retitle your posting. It's unfair and untrue. I'll base my 40 years of doing what I do on my observation.
