September 4, 2025I’m seeing reels where people are finding insane deals on amazon or hidden clearances in stores. How are they doing it?
I feel like these pages just have multiple people working around the clock, checking store websites constantly to know what’s marked down fresh from huge retailers. Other than that, there’s also lots of traded information from their followers (I’ve noticed being part of those groups) and then it just gets around. Example, a follower goes to Walmart and sees vacuums are ringing up at 50% off but aren’t marked. They buy multiple and take a picture of the receipt or UPC code and the page reposts it and then tons of people score. I wouldn’t pay for something like that. A ton of coupon and clearance influencers have Telegrams, or Instagram group chats for free, they just get paid through the affiliate links and sometimes brand promos depending on how big they get More on reddit.com

Always check camelcamelcamel before buying. It's a very rare item on Amazon that is actually discounted. They're just marked down from a price they jacked up a couple weeks ago. I've only found a handful of actual deals.

I keep seeing this account on TikTok that shares deals on Amazon. I understand why she does it, she gets commission when you buy from her storefront or however it works. What I don’t understand is where she finds these deals, and if the products are legit.
Basically, she gives a big list of expensive products that you can redeem discounts and coupon codes for, and get for free or very discounted. For example, there will be a 600 dollar drone or vacuum for free or for 26 bucks. All of the products have no brand name (they say “generic”) and no reviews. It just seems fishy to me. From what I understand, there is a certain amount of product that sells for free, then it turns to 90% off or close to that. I haven’t caught a free product in time yet, but I guess there is no harm in ordering something that’s free and I’ll see what comes in the mail!
I’m just curious if anyone knows anything about this?

I have found that the items have inflated "regular" prices to make the lower price look like a deal. And the discounted price is actually what the item is worth. The items are readily available on AliExpress for the same or less.
