Is it realistically possible to make a full-time living solely from Web Games (Poki, CrazyGames) in 2025?
Is Crazygames actually good?
Am I crazy to get a 27" or 32" 4K monitor with a 9070XT, this system, and these games?

Hello everyone,
I'm an indie developer currently exploring the web game market (HTML5). I see platforms like Poki, CrazyGames, and others getting massive traffic, but information on actual developer earnings is often vague or outdated.
I am trying to understand if pursuing web games as a primary career path is viable today, rather than just a side hustle.
For those of you who have published on these platforms recently:
Is it your full-time income? Or does it just cover coffee money/server costs?
Volume vs. Hits: Did you need a massive portfolio (10+ games) to make a living wage, or did a single "hit" game provide sustainable revenue?
The Platforms: How does the revenue share compare between a curated platform like Poki vs. more open ones like CrazyGames or GameDistribution?
Longevity: Do games continue to earn well after the initial launch month, or does traffic drop to zero quickly?
Any insights, numbers (RPM/eCPM ranges), or brutally honest advice would be appreciated. I'm trying to decide if I should pivot my focus entirely to this niche.
Thanks!
I recently stumbled upon this video talking about how easy it is to make money with jam games thanks to Crazygames (CG). I looked into this a bit further, signing up for a dev account on CG (That was super easy btw.) etc. It feels like they are trying to make themselves look like "Itch.io but you get moneeeeyyy!!!". Their developer UI is basically the one from Itch, and I really thought at first that they allow you to just upload games to their platform. Only in the top bar I actually saw that there's a "Review" step after the "Uploading" step.
So my questions are: Is that really true? How many players do you get when publishing on CG? Do you actually get real money? Do they actually do something to promote your game or are you supposed to do that yourself? Is it worth it?
These are my system specs: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi MB, G Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 6000 (CL26) 32GB RAM, Sapphire Pulse RX 9070XT 16GB.
I was looking at getting a 1440P OLED monitor, but then started looking at 4K OLED monitors. I don't play any online multiplayer games. I pretty much play the games in the pic, plus The Witcher 3 and some Cyberpunk 2077. Most of my time is spent on RDR2, Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Fallout 4.
My question is can I play those games at decent FPS with my system and the 9070XT? I will most likely upgrade my GPU when GTA6 comes to the PC.
Also, if anyone has 4K OLED monitor suggestions, feel free to post them. I'm looking at 27" or 32" QD OLED.
