Cricket is charging $65 instead of $60 no matter how hard you try to prevent late charges. Their trick is there's something wrong with their system and payments don't go through. Even if you want to make payment days before your due date, it never goes through until after 12 midnight of your due date, then you are charged extra for late fee. Even if you drove into the store before hand to report their problem or make the payment, their policy is you pay extra $5 for store payments. Though it's their fault. They insist on auto pay then, but what if you don't use one card for payments. There might be times that the particular card has no money. Be very careful dealing with this $65 trick every month
EDIT (7/2/24): Hey yall! You probably found this post by searching up the problem. The solution for me at the time was contacting support and having someone send you a text message to pay your bill. From what I could infer at the time, the issue HAS to be the zipcode of whatever card youre using/whatever billng address not registering correctly. You could enter it in 1,000,000 times and it still wouldn't work. Use a different card or contact service. If this issue is STILL going on, I recommend switching phone providers, haven't had an issue SINCE!
Okay so I have tried to play my bill for 2 hours. I called in to the service number because this is the second time I'm having this issue and I am beyond frustrated. When the lady on the phone tried to process my payment, she said my card was declined even though I had more than enough money to cover my bill. So, I called my bank and they said that there is no block on my card and that I had more than enough money to pay my bill. They also said that my address and zip code were correct, so there's no way that it was customer error.
So I tried the app, the automated system AND the website and all three kept saying that my information was wrong when I know it isn't??? There's money on the cards I am using, all of the information was confirmed correct... I'm at a loss. I just want to pay my phone bill.
Is anyone else having this issue????

Edit 2: So I called them back after contacting my bank, they still cant solve this issue and I am at a loss. How am I going to get service??????????????
Edit 3: Okay so I'm rolling through all of the systems again. All of the cards I am using are not enrolled in auto pay. Here are the results:
myCricket App: Tried google pay: Error popped up saying that there was a problem trying to connect to the server. Tried to enter in my card details, says that my information is wrong.
Quickpay: Tried 2 cards, says that my information was entered in incorrectly and to recheck my information.
Payment tab: Same as quickpay.
Cricket website (Desktop): Same as quickpay.
Cricket website (Mobile): Same as quickpay.
Automated system: Same as quickpay "Hmm.. I'm having some issues (yadda yadda yadda).." entered number twice, no dice.
I dont want to spend my money on a refill card only for that to be declined too.... Is there literally ANYONE who can help me out???
There are more posts saying the exact same thing pertaining the service and refill cards too.I paid my bill an hour ago and my phone service is still not been restored. Iโm questioning if they didnโt just take my money and expect me to be without a phone.
