I've been in the market lately for a new pair and have been looking for heavier Unsanforized denim. Iron Heart is pretty high on my list of denim to cop but I have been having difficulty finding any available in my size (34ish).
On SxE's site (rather low stock) I came across this sanforized heavyweight model: http://www.selfedge.com/shop/images/ih461/0.jpg
I find the silhouette very interesting and was wondering what other's opinions on the fit were. Potential unforeseen positives/negatives?

If you're wearing boots, particularly higher types, sure. That's why the cut exists. That said, man, that's not an easy look to pull off, it's archaic, and wearing them with sneakers is gross as well as completely missing the point.
The problem with those is that the width on the leg is just too wide. If you want something a little loose at the leg, most "slim" fits are wide enough at the leg opening. I have a few slim cuts that I wear with cowboy boots at my job all the time. UB301, N&F Slim Guy, 3sixteen +11BSP, KMW 1980, etc. They are just wide enough to fit over a boot, but still slim enough to sit on top of shoes and not cover them up like a boot cut.
