I would love to do my install! But I just don't have the time to do it. I work a lot and on call often. So one of the local audio stores told me if I bought my speakers, amps and whatever I would like to buy from Crutchfield. That they would do the install and just charge me the labor. Anyone ever do this and was happy?

I'm looking to install a $125 stereo receiver in my 2010 Mazda 3. When I put the receiver in my cart on the website, I'm given a choice between a $68 install kit and a $213 install kit. They don't really describe the difference between the two kits except to point out that the expensive one has the "installation made easier" feature.
Sure, I'd like the pre-wired "ReadyHarness." Sure, I'd like the face plate/bezel to make the receiver fit in the weird space on the dashboard.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I have a 2010 mitsubishi lancer with the factory Rockford Fosgate sound system package w/ subwoofer and no navigation system. My radio died and I'm looking at the Pioneer 1700 NEX system. I'm fine with the features and the price, but with spending that much money I just want to be sure I've got all my bases covered because I don't want to spend 300 on the radio and another 200 on an install kit that I either don't need for it to work or doesn't have everything I need.
All the components included would be:
Pioneer 1700 NEX
iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Module
iDatalink HRN-RR-MI1 harness
included dash kit (pretty sure I don't need it but buying the kit with it costs as much as buying everything individually so I figure doesn't hurt to have the backup)
Other than that I'll pay the 25 dollars for the ReadyHarness service
Totals out to 540 before tax
Does this cover my bases? Is anything redundant/not necessary?
