I would love to do my install! But I just don't have the time to do it. I work a lot and on call often. So one of the local audio stores told me if I bought my speakers, amps and whatever I would like to buy from Crutchfield. That they would do the install and just charge me the labor. Anyone ever do this and was happy?
I'm looking to install a $125 stereo receiver in my 2010 Mazda 3. When I put the receiver in my cart on the website, I'm given a choice between a $68 install kit and a $213 install kit. They don't really describe the difference between the two kits except to point out that the expensive one has the "installation made easier" feature.
Sure, I'd like the pre-wired "ReadyHarness." Sure, I'd like the face plate/bezel to make the receiver fit in the weird space on the dashboard.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Finally bit the bullet and bought a radio from crutch field after reading reviews. No experiencing installing radios but a local place wanted $1400 for a radio that cost $600 plus $200 in parts.
Do I keep the same GPS and microphone? Third gen without JBL but has navigation. Bought the ready harness and trim removal kit and socket set. Just trying to figure out if I need like 4 hours or a day to get it all setup. Pretty nervous.
Ordered the Jensen Car910W if that helps
Thanks for any advice!
