Cub Cadet LTX1050 bagger recommendations
There aren't really universal baggers. Except for powered, tow-behind units like the Cyclone Rake, which would still have different kits to interface with the deck. Baggers by themselves (for riders or walk-behinds) are tough to buy. The seller may not specify the model it came from, or certainly doesn't know what other models it also fits, and usually won't list the part number (to help for searching). And most baggers are not sold just by themselves. The cheapest solution may be to look into which other Cub models used your bagger. And try to find a used tractor-with-bagger to buy. Pick which tractor your prefer, equip the bagger on that one, and sell the other tractor. At 50", is this a 3-blade deck? Other brands, like Deere, typically go to an expensive, fan-assisted bagger (to help move the clippings up the chute), once they get to 3 blades. I don't think Cub has any fan-assisted baggers. So it's possible that the bagging performance may not be spectacular. I have no experience with that (my 2-blade decks bagged fine, my 48" 3-blade Cub does not have a bagger), but it's something to consider, or maybe look into. I am fortunate enough to be able to get away with using Cub's mulching kit on my deck, I think the results are great. I also just mulch my leaves in the fall, which saves loads of time. There isn’t a “universal” one. You need the bagger for MTD tractors. You can buy a Craftsman one for MTD made Craftsmans sure, it’ll be packed as a bagger to fit 42/46 decks - but they aren’t really any cheaper than the Cub branded one More on reddit.com

Picked up a used LTX1050 KW and thinking about a bagger. I know it’s pre-2014 and the bagger I see in manuals is 19A40002100 part number. Of course no longer available. Are there any kind of universal or other brand 2 or 3 bag systems that would work with this model? 50” deck. First ride on and not too sure what to look for.

Hello, I have an XT1 LT42 and I’m wondering if there are any options for a bagger besides the Cub Cadet brand ones. I’m wondering if say a craftsman would fit. I’d love a bagger, I just can’t stand spending $500 on one and would hate to buy a “universal” one and find that it doesn’t fit. Thanks for any help!

Another MTD brand may work. It will most probably depend on the deck chute configuration (same size hole, mounting tab for the strap, receiver for the bagger).
