July 27, 2021 - I was going to rebuild it but when I went to the local Cub Cadet dealer to get the rebuild kit a new carb was only a little bit more than the kit I just got the new carb and was done with it. I have the old one and might take it apart and clean it and put it on the shelf. That being said.... see if you can find someone with a medium size ultrasonic cleaner. I have one at my shop and that is what I have been using on carburetors.

December 16, 2008 - Has anyone got any advice as to the removal of the main high speed jet (??) that screws into the tower that hangs in the float chamber of these old kohler carbs...?? Some of them simply won't budge for me. I wind up ruining the screwdriver slot, then it's game over. Any ideas out there...
