July 27, 2021 - I was going to rebuild it but when I went to the local Cub Cadet dealer to get the rebuild kit a new carb was only a little bit more than the kit I just got the new carb and was done with it. I have the old one and might take it apart and clean it and put it on the shelf. That being said.... see if you can find someone with a medium size ultrasonic cleaner. I have one at my shop and that is what I have been using on carburetors.

For the Cub Cadet 125 with a 12 hp Kohler engine, incorrect carburetor adjustments cause stalling. Check the idle mixture screw and main jet for proper fuel flow. Ensure the choke plate fully opens at throttle.

From the first Original to the last x82 Series... you can't beat an IH Cub Cadet!!! ... Dealer says there were markings. Probably on the float bowl, I guess I'll have to take it off to find out. September 1, 2020 - Click to expand... I purchased an aftermarket carb for a Kohler CH23 in late 2019 off of ebay seller autopartszone2008. It was a KH-28-853-59-S which is a similar carb without the accelerator pump.
