My neighbor ask me to look at his newer Cub cadet LT1050 that I don't know much about to new for me anyway. The hydro transmission is very jerky and rough when you first take off and when under a load up a hill won't move at all.

September 6, 2021 - Made sure the Trans fan was clear of any obstructions and inspected (underneath) what I could while the deck was removed. I downloaded the owner’s manual from Cab Cadet and it said that the transmission for this particular model was sealed-up at the factory and could *NOT* be serviced.

Hi so this same thing happened to my cub cadet. it just started losing transmission power and eventually got to the point where it wouldn't go anywhere. I tried rebuilding the tranny and it worked for a few mows and just kept loosing power so I ended up buying a donor mower and putting that tranny in so far still going good.
