I’ve attached multiple pictures - I own about an acre with most of my back yard being a decently steep slope, I’ve measured it at about 28 degrees on the steepest point, going tomorrow to the Cub Cadet dealer, what would you recommend for my property given the hills?

I decided to try and make my life easier by buying a riding mower and decided to buy the Cub Cadet cc 30 h. I live in FL, have a small yard, and thick st Augustine grass. I usually cut it on the highest setting with a battery powered ryobi mower.

The Cub Cadet CC 30 H on the highest setting scalped my grass. The highest setting on the cub cadet was equivalent to the lowest height setting on my ryobi push mower. Additionally, the Cub Cadet couldn’t event make it through the grass as it couldn’t even handle the thick st Augustine. I literally had to pull out my ryobi battery push mower to complete the mow. The ryobi can handle more grass and provides a cleaner cut than this gas power riding mower which is a flat out piece of junk. Additionally, the Cub cadet would get stuck and tires spin. I had to push it out.

The Cub cadet will work for you if you have thin grass, very dry, perfectly flat ground, and also cut it at 1 inch.

Please don’t make the same mistake I made. Thankfully the mower dealer is taking a return but with a restocking fee. Stay far away from this mower.
