The Cub Cadet LGTX 1054 (54-Inch) 27HP Lawn Tractor w/ Power Steering LGTX 1054 has been discontinued. I bought this in 2013 to replace my old Cub 2000 Series. I do miss the shaft drive, but I can't complain about the 1054's reliability. I mow about 2 acres every week. Over 1300 hrs on the machine. Change oil/filter/air cleaner once a year. Always fires up, and aside from a deck belt from time to time, no other issues. If I had any complaints, the deck could use some improvements.
