Anybody have experience breaking down the gearbox on one of these? I took one in for repair but have no experience with these particular setups. So far my impression is that if I ever get a chance to buy one of these, I'll pass! Gimme a Troy Bilt any day, but this MTD/Cub Cadet is a hunk of junk...

Cub Cadet RT65 tiller | Homesteading Forum
We have a Cub Cadet RT65 tiller, about 4 yrs. old. Although it propels forward and reverse, and the tines rotate when engaged, they stop when lowered to the ground. Do I need a new belt, or does this sound like a transmission problem ...
