If I adjust the linkage on the right hydrostat to speed the froward speed up it does not get as fast as the left side, but the reverse will hardly go then!!! A shop told me I needed a new drive motor. Has any one had this problem. Also can you get a service manuel to work on the hydrostatic drives.

The pto belt is in good shape and is tight and the drive belt to the hydrostatic transmissions is in good shape also. I'm at a loss as to what to do next! September 4, 2009 - I'm normally a very easy going guy, but this has got me a little riled up and I think it's time for cub owners to make Cub Cadet ante up and cover our losses, this is obviously a common problem according to several service centers, mostly with the left transmission, it will work for awhile then suddenly stop while moving along, (also see the RZT Transmission Thread in this forum) I've had several quite dangerous occurences from it.
