Hi all, planning a short road trip for my fiance's birthday and will be stopping one night in Buffalo. I've seen the Curtis's hotel recommended a few times here as one of the more luxurious/special occasion hotels but I've also read a lot of mixed reviews and complaints about service/cleanliness. Wondering if it's worth the price as it's quite expensive or if there's another nicer/romantic hotel you'd recommend?
I've also looked at the In Buffalo and The Richardson which seem interesting but wondering if it's better to be downtown vs Elmwood.
TIA
Edit: Thanks so much for all the replies and feedback! Sounds like Curtiss is not for us...between Inn Buffalo on Elmwood, The Richardson and Oscar's Inn, which would you recommend?
And is it pretty easy to get from Elmwood Village to downtown or would you have to drive downtown and park there?
Curtiss hotel
The Curtis Hotel. Unprofessional and Rude.
Is the Curtiss hotel worth the price?
Anyone have experience staying there or knowledge about the amenities?
