Hello! I’m currently shopping around for a 30x60 standing desk. My biggest holdup at this point is whether or not to get a curved edge or not. It will only lose 3” in the depth at the deepest point of the curve. I’m not too worried about losing the desk real estate because it is already larger than the desk I’m currently using (52” x 24”).
I’m just looking for the most comfortable and ergonomic option. I have a Logitech ergonomic keyboard with a large wrist pad, so would that make the curved edge useless? From what I read, you’re not even supposed to really rest your wrists on the desk but in reality that’s not always the case. I also have the Anker ergonomic mouse. (Logitech ERGO K860, Anker 2.4G wireless vertical ergonomic optical mouse)
My monitor is a 35” curved ultra wide monitor.
I am spending 8 hours a day at the desk essentially for now but in the future I may be in and out and only doing two 8 hour days at the desk while I travel the other days.
If anyone has any positive/negative experiences with their curved edge standing desk, I would really appreciate the input before I purchase.
Thank you!
