I usually recommend people starting out to get something like a prebuilt keyboard for a company like Keychron. They have sizes from 60% to full size, available with different switches (linear, tactile, clicky) and most boards are hot swappable. They are easy to mod for better sound, feel and look. You should check out their website and see if there is anything you like. However, if you really want to build a custom keyboard this is what you need
