Edit 1: As some people suggested, there are plenty of apps that help you meet the requirements. I've been doing this for many years without any issues.

Planning to get my passport picture at a CVS and wanted to know if the passport hours are the same as the store hours? I tried checking online but it didn't say anything. this doesn't work unless your photo is high def. Recently discovered that they compress your image if you go this route. Wasted way too much time trying to troubleshoot only to discover that when I printed the same image with the kiosk passport software as opposed to the 4x6 or 5x7, the resolution got 100x better. IT'S THE EXACT SAME PHOTO! They're running a scam to upcharge you the same product.
