If you just call they can do it for you, but you have to have a card on file. You can do that on the app or website. We’re not allowed under any circumstance to take a persons card info in person or over the phone. So if you just do that, you call the store and they’ll set up the delivery! More on reddit.com

First, keep in mind a CVS employee is not leaving the store to run the prescription over to you, we’re barely staffed enough to fill things as it is. Same day/on demand delivery uses a gig service called Roadie, which I assume is a lesser known DoorDash/Instacart service. It’s entirely possible there isn’t anyone in your area working for them, but the system doesn’t know that when you request delivery. From the pharmacy’s perspective, we also don’t get an alert that someone has requested same day delivery, it lumps it in with the ones we pack up to mail out through the post office. Had one today when the driver showed up to collect it and we had to prep the package, which only takes 2 minutes, but that’s likely why whoever you talked to said it hadn’t even been processed yet. If they’re shortstaffed and getting slammed, keeping up with the deliveries is something that will fall by the wayside. I’ll often end up packing the deliveries when the post office employee shows up in the mid-afternoon. Sorry for your experience but it’s not something I’d rely on for things you need immediately.
