I dont know if you can change it. You could try to disable the crafting recipe or make it harder tho if you are doing a modpack with something like crafttweaker

Does anyone know how to make this thing work?
I've got it placed over a lava source and it'll melt single items but it won't do the more complex recipes like for crystalized obsidian.
Is this because the heat level isn't high enough? Currently, for my melter, its heat is at 2 and I don't know how to increase it beyond that.
Please help :(
edit: I actually figured out that the blocks were in the wrong spots.
it actually needed to be:

May 9, 2021 - Problem: There is no way to adjust the armor values of the Emerald Armor, the Leggings and Chest Piece specifically have disproportionately more armor value than any other vanilla armor, and even most modded armors. Emeralds are very easy top get a hold of so it makes this really powerful armor trivial to obtain. Crystallized Obsidian is a bit harder to get, however it comes across as too much still for a lack of config.
