So, im trying to do an automated autocrafter station with al the trees, but, when I add items to the cyclic item extraction whitelist, it just ignore it and still let it pass other items.

Hey! Ive been trying to connect this cyclic item cable to the centrifuge, but whenever I set up the extraction pipe, it keeps disconnecting. Anyone able to help?
I had countless issues with Cyclic pipes, I personnaly added Pipez to the pack. Otherwise you can use the Mekanism's Transport Cable.
I had the same issue, but my cable where still working.
Honestly the lack of good pipe on this pack is the only real problem I've had. I rushed Xnet before automating anything.
I'm using cyclic item cables for the first time as this pack has no early game alternatives, and at my AFK dye farm they keep taking sand from the input chest despite non of the barrels being filled with dyed water.
How big is their internal inventory, and is there a way to force them to only extract items if they have an inventory to export into?
Cyclic cables cannot blacklist, they just take all of the items. Just spent two hours plus trying to set them up and concluded they don't work.
The Item Exractors for clarification, becuase they "can be filtered".
Cyclic cables are trash, dont waste your time.
Hi!
I may have found either a bug, or something that I do not understand. I have a tree farm, which works perfectly, and I collect everything into a single chest. Now, the chest in question has a Cyclic Item extractor attached to it, and a bunch of cables which run into different barrels.
However, for some reason it doesn't want to put items into the barrels, but if I attach a chest to the cable system, it immediatly puts the items there.
Is there any special thing required to store items into the barrels, or is this a bug?
Forgot to mention, I am using Sky factory 4.
Thank you for your help!
I have any tomatoes bonsai farm. I have the hopping bonsais hoop into a cabinet below. Below those cabinets are item extraction cables going into filing cabinets however they are not organized by pot but rather by resins, acorns, wood, leaves etc. The issue Iโm having is items going past their designated filing cabinet and going to other ones clogging the system up. Basically I was wondering if thereโs a way to fix this so the items go from the cable into their designated filling cabinet or if I have to reorganise everything by bonsai pot instead.
Nothing in the cable
whats in the chests
I do have the corresponding filing folders needed to store the items, placed inside the filing cabinets.
Item Extraction Cables will extract the items from the inventory they're attached to, your picture shows one set to whitelist with nothing approved, so nothing will move. Click the page in the top to set it to blacklist-nothing, and it'll move anything it can via the Item Cables - you need to connect the Extraction Cables to the desired inventory with Item Cables, not Extraction Cables. One pulls from an inventory, the other transfers items to an inventory elsewhere.
Why not just put the bonsai pots on top of the filing cabinets directly and skip the whole item conduit step? The stuff is going three blocks anyways, just move the pots with shift-right click and two empty hands, put them on top of the relevant cabinet and you're done forever.
Can we get a screen of the back the filing cabinets? Can you right click on one of the cables and see whats in it?
Are all the chests filled with the same materials?
I'm trying to send my bonsai stuff into my filing system but sometimes the items go into the other bonsai chests. Is there a way to make the things only go to the chests?
For item cables from cyclic, is there a way for a item extraction cable to be disconnected from another cable? I have two side by side and I dont want them to be connected.
Redstone torch on the cyclic pipes, I believe right click. It should turn yellow and won't connect there.
Thank you. You saved my day with this. You can cut off north, south, east and west connections and connect three pipes next to each other without them transferring item between them. Thank you!
i never used the cyclic mod before but i tried to use the item cables to transfer items from a chest to another one and they're not working, any fix?.
secondary question: are there any bigger chest or do i need to make hundreds of normal ones
exactly as the title says.
anything i can do to fix this, or anything i should replace them with?
setup:
Cyclic fluid extraction cables taking lava from cauldrons into a geothermal generator. Why am I hearing from a YouTuber Say item duct is better than cyclic item cables When cyclic itemcables is clearly so much better I am so confused is there something I don't know that I should know rn because my entire base is using cyclic itemcables
Hello. I have 8 chests side by side with item extraction cables coming out of them. I want to have 4 of them going to one Filing Cabinet and the other 4 To the other Filing Cabinet. Problem is that since their so close..... They all 8 linked up. But i dont want to change my whole setup. So was wondering how do i break the link in the middle Between Chest 4 and 5?
Thank you.
Hello,
So I stopped using hoppers and chests for my hopping bonzai pots and switched to Cyclic Item extraction cables going from the pots into filing cabinets, this going to Packagers via Storage Link Cables from Simple Storage. The output goes into a compact chest that is linked to my Refined Storage Network with an Importer cable.
My problem is that nothing works, the pots loots do not go into the filing cabinets, and don't go into packagers to make the item. Yet, I use Ruby Mulch and can neither see any resin or acorn going into my filing cabinets, nothing going into my packagers, and nothing being output in my RS Network.
I tried to switch the redstone activation, I followed every step to make Packagers and Filing Cabinet to work, I tried to put Storage Link cables under the pots, even Storage Import Cables, nothing works.

Thanks for your help!
Iirc, the hopping pots don't have an exposed inventory of their own, so the pipes can't pull out of them. The pipes don't have an exposed inventory, so the pots can't insert the items into them.
Put a chest, crate, or something under the pots and pipe out of that, instead, and it should work.
Your first problem is that you used cyclic's buggy mess of crap cables.
So I have chests connected to generators with item extraction cables and I find they stop drawing the items I'm using for fuel.
EX. I have a chest connected to my simple storage network, it is drawing rotten flesh and this part seems to work fine. The chest is also connected to an Upgradable culinary generator. The item extraction cable I'm using to feed the generator stops working at random, I have the cable set to white list rotten flesh.
Any ideas on what could be causing this? It is also happening with my combustion generators that are not connected to the network.
