Getting Cyrillic Characters into Google Translate

Copying Cyrillic URLs in Google Chrome? - Stack Overflow
I built a free page for copying Cyrillic letters. Just click a letter and it’s on your clipboard. Nothing fancy, but I got tired of googling “Russian letters copy paste” every time I needed one.

Uppercase, lowercase, and the special characters (ё, ъ, ь, etc.) are all there. Hope it’s useful to someone.
Some of my DNA matches have online trees in fully Russian or Ukranian text characters. When I am able to copy/paste them via mouse or keyboard, they are quite easy to translate to English via Goggle Translate. But if I cannot copy/paste them (e g., non-copiable text, or non-digitized images), are their any suggestions on how to enter the Cyrillic characters into Google Translate?
Just add any character and then erase it. After this operation, the copied cyrillic character will not be converted to punycode.
Example. In the address bar "https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Аррасская_уния" -> "https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Аррасская_уния1" -> "https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Аррасская_уния" and then copy it.
This problem is still not resolved! A couple of years ago I developed a Google Chrome extension that might be useful for you!
COPY URL extension
Advantages:
- supports links copying with Cyrillic
- automatically converts Punycode
When you click "Copy URL” address of open tabs is copied to the clipboard.
I was developing it for myself so the localization is coming soon!
