Wasn’t sure to put this under recommendation or Career tag but went with Career because this would be my work bag.
I’ve seen them a few times in the city and while they are basic I love how expensive and well made they look in person.
Who has one? Do you love it? Is it easy to clean the neoprene? I want the Dune color but I’m afraid about it getting dirty from daily use.
I am asking for one for Christmas and don’t want to regret it!

I had one as a diaper bag. Just got rid of it. I liked jt. I found it hard to clean and despite having the large size I didn’t find it that roomy. I’d give it a 6.5/10
Questions about Dakota Backpack Med/Large
I flew United with the large Landon no issues as a personal item. Brought it with my hard carry on that I stashed overhead. It fits under the seat if it’s not stuffed to the brim. I stuffed it and they still let me bring it on. Great travel bag. I don’t own the backpack but love the Dagne bag. I loved the large so much I bought the XL as my gym bag. Used every day for a few years no snags no big creases. They’ve held up well. I recommend doing the bundle it gives you 20% off two things. I got the Landon and a toiletry bag for about the same price as not doing the deal. I recommend getting the bigger toiletry bag it holds a lot more and is worth the money. More on reddit.com

Hey so I was between these also and ended up with the ANDI backpack from the Andi brand ( https://theandibrand.com/collections/andi-backpack ). What kept me from the Dagne was the neoprene, my friend has one of their bags and it seemed to crease and stain easily. The MZ Wallace I really liked too, and it felt more functional, but thought the quilting would get old. Hopes this helps! More on reddit.com

YMMV as I don’t have to schlep a laptop around and can get away with just an iPad, but my current daily carry is Caraa’s small Studio bag (no longer available in this size), but I’ve also gotten lots of use out of Knomo’s mini Beauchamp and MZ Wallace’s small Metro top-handle backpack (a discontinued style, but I’m loving the small utility backpack as well). The diaper bag is certainly spacious, but it is a “black hole” type of spacious. If you’re deciding between the two, I think it depends on how exactly you’ll need to use the bag and how much you’ll want to store in it. In my opinion, the Large Dakota backpack has more than enough room for a clutch with diaper supplies, a change of clothes for baby, snacks, and even a small cooler with a bottle or two.

Hello! I recently discovered Dagne Dover but haven’t yet made the leap to buy.
I am interested in using this backpack for work travel.
Q1-Has anyone had any experience flying with United Airlines as a personal item and if so were there issues?
Q2-I have never used a neoprene bag. Does the backpack sag at all? Is it stretchy or does it maintain its shape?
