Contractors don't have tech support. The question to ask was do you have a service department. They don't help customers fix their own problems over the phone. They charge for their time and materials to diagnose and perform repairs. Daikin is most likely going to refer you to their list of certified contractors if you have a problem. More on reddit.com

Anyone have the number for Tech support on these Daikin units in SoCal? Called closest Goodman supplier and was told that they are and sell Daikin but these require another Daikin tech support and they don’t have it. Not sure how true that is or not, but we’ve had to swap out a compressor, and have high superheat issues, oil issues, really just trying to get tech support and more help on these.
