I have a Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate which has been giving me some trouble as of late. I've found that there are certain USB ports which fail to recognize the keyboard and I'm left with all the power LEDs on the keyboard blinking on and off.
This hasn't been an issue in the past and it could be explained away by the USB ports themselves starting to fail, but no other devices show any problems. I'll try a few things, but the control board inside the keyboard looks fine visually. I'll re-seat the USB micro b 10 pin connector on the control board and if that doesn't seem to help I can probe around with a multimeter but I'm not sure what I'd even be looking for other than a bad solder joint causing continuity issues.
Any thoughts? I've noticed that other posts about this same issue don't tend to get any comments so maybe it's just something that's bound to happen with the Das keyboards.
On the product page, the description says the keyboard is "Firmware updatable"; however, I haven't seen any firmware updates for this.
Has anyone seen any updates for the keyboards from the company or custom firmwares?
Hey guys!
Not long ago I bought a Das Keyboard 4 Professional with brown switches. I am really liking it, except for a small issue: after turning on my computer, the following keys does not work: qweruiop789. If I unplug and plug in the keyboard agian, everything works fine until I turn off the computer and turn it on again. Any ideas to solve this will be appreciated! (I tried it in different USB ports, same issue).
