It's a very mehhh keyboard for a lot of money. It's missing a lot of features either mac enthusiasts or mechanical keyboard enthusiast want which are available for a lot less. For example: backlighting (not even RGB), a more "Apple" color theme, More replaceable parts like switches.... etc... This is a firm no from me... not even for a quarter of the listed price. Probably the wrong sub for this ad. Best of luck. Need some more marketing research before releasing a product like this IMHO though... More on reddit.com

Any reviews here on the Das Keyboard 4 Professional for Mac?
I have it, and still currently using it for my iMac setup. If you want a mechanical keyboard for a desktop based Mac setup, I would 100% recommend this. It's made specifically for Mac, all the native functions work as per normal (Cmd, Alt/Opt, Ctrl). It's simply plug & play. No need for any 3rd party software installation. Depending on your model of Macbook, you may need a USB 3.0 adapter to plug it in. The media keys work exactly the same (accessing iTunes, volume wheel, etc) and there are the Brightness Up/Down keys as well. However, there is no Mission Control key or Launchpad key. All those Mac controls have their own dedicated keys, so the F-function (F1, F2, F3, etc) keys work as they should without the need for holding the Fn key. And two USB 3.0 ports on the side come in handy as well! Prior to this, I had the Azio Mac Keyboard. And while it did what it needed to do, it completely died in the ass after only 6 weeks. Their customer service was absolutely horrendous as well when trying to sort out the warranty/replacement. Luckily I bought it through Amazon, I explained the situation to them and they immediately refunded me in full. So props to Amazon! More on reddit.com
