What Are Data Entry Jobs That Require No Experience?
No experience data entry jobs are entry-level roles that offer you the chance to learn more about transcription and filling out forms and documents for a company. In this role, you may type content, gather information, and utilize a system to keep track of the data received. You can do most data entry online, either within existing software or by sending the data through email. Many details of this position depend on the industry. For example, healthcare data entry may involve handling sensitive personal information, while production data entry may focus on recording output performance.
This is a throwaway just because I'm ashamed to admit I have no experience.
I'm a stats student here at U of T, looking for part-time work. I can see that many data entry jobs require just a high school diploma and strong computer skills (at least the jobs I can find on Indeed). I have a type speed of 75 WPM, and have good experience with Excel and Word, as well as python (not sure if that's relevant). Plus, I figured that my stats background can help a little.
So that's all I have going for me; I have no work experience, and only limited volunteer experience. I was originally looking at retail jobs, but is it feasible at all to find a low-level, part-time data entry job? It's more relevant to my degree than retail, at least.
