I'm in a part-time boot camp right now. It's the UC Berkeley Extension one, but it's run by Trilogy Education, who creates, administers, and licenses these courses for universities. I'm positive this ( https://bootcamp.du.edu/data/ ) is run by Trilogy as well. Heads up, I'm already a data analyst with a few years experience with pretty extensive exposure to SQL and Excel, I took the course because work offered to pay for about half of it and I wanted to learn Python and a few of the other stuff covered (NoSQL databases, CSS/Javascript, APIs, hadoop / ML). I'm taking it after work. Cliff notes: The content and curriculum is pretty good. My instructor and subs so far have been pretty solid. You won't great great at anything over the course of the class. You'll get okay at a lot of things. I spend between 10-15 hours on it any given week outside of class. If you are coming from a baseline of zero, 20+ is probably more realistic. The learning curve is really steep if you have no exposure to coding or analytics. I basically breezed through the first couple months because I've worked extensively in Excel and had about 2 years of on-and-off self-taught coding. Not enough where I could actually built anything meaningful, but enough that I wasn't being overwhelmed with new information every 5 minutes. It blunted the learning curve a lot. If I'm coming from a cold start, the first month would have been really rough. Especially if you're coming from a cold start, you'll need to supplement a lot with Google and StackOverflow searches, and outside materials. I'm not finding the network particularly valuable. Some of them are absolute gems, but most I probably wouldn't hire if they came as candidates to my desk. I've reached a point of basically blowing off any of the resume review and career services stuff. But that's in large part because I already have a job, and am marketable enough to be a decent candidate even without the certification. You absolutely will not be able to claim data scientist with this. You could get an pretty decent analyst gig though. It's tough for me to say whether it was "worth it". I've definitely accelerated my pace of learning over when I tried to tackle some of these concepts myself through online tutorials. I would not have paid sticker (a little over $10k for me) for this course. I was already employed in the industry, making decent money, and the incremental value of this class to my salary is relatively small. But I've developed some shiny new skills, work covered half of it, and I'm generally pretty happy with it in my case. More on reddit.com

I think metana could be a great resource for you. They offer a variety of courses and bootcamps that can help you learn the skills you need to be a successful AI/ML developer. They also have a strong network of employers, so they can help you find a job once you're finished with your training. More on reddit.com

I think data science bootcamps can be a useful first step, but on their own, probably not enough to land a data science position. You will probably learn new skills that you could bring to your current role and hopefully elevate it and do some more advanced work, and that might help your career. But keep in mind there are lots of folks with masters degrees in data science and related fields that are having a hard time landing jobs right now (as seen on datascience)
