r/DataCamp on Reddit: Discount voucher for Datacamp
June 7, 2025 -

Hi guys

I want to purchase Datacamp to supplement my learning. Does anyone have any voucher or discount coupon so I can get it cheaply? In student beans website, there is a 67 % discount available for students. If someone is student and does not need to use the voucher, they might help sharing it with me.

r/DataCamp on Reddit: Regarding the price for a one-year subscription
June 22, 2023 -

Hello, everyone. I'm a Taiwanese planning to pursue a master degree in statistics this year

My plan is to enhance my practical experience through DataCamp.

Currently, when I check the website,

the subscription price is at a 50% discount ($149 USD for one year),

and there is only one day left for the promotional period.

I would like to know if there are usually better prices available in this year

or should I just go for it?

Thank you all for your responses.

Hi all, has anyone completed DataCamp's Data Analyst in Power BI career track lately? How many days did it take them to send you the discount code?

Looking at past forum threads, it seems that while they claim it could take up to 30 days, the code is automatically emailed as soon as you complete 50% of—or after the policy change—the entire track? Just want to check if anyone else is experiencing a delay in receiving the code, and how long (many days) the delay is?

June 9, 2023 - I wouldn’t say always but there is usually a discount around every holiday. I used one on Black Friday and saw another around new years. ... The trick is to login to DataCamp regularly, and if there's a promo that you are eligible for, it shouldn't be hard to spot.

Hi, Datacamp announced a limited time discount for Premium for Individuals plan ($69 instead of $149 / year). But I am already on a discounted individual plan since 2 years which will terminate by the end of this month (for $99 ). As I see in subscription management, I am not able to benefit from this discount (sigh!)

What are my alternatives:

  1. Terminate my subscription with datacamp to never return back to penalize their crappy loyalty management.

  2. Terminate my subscription, resubscribe (with a new mail or existing mail account). Continue paying $69 instead of $99/year in my current plan.

  3. Continue paying $99 per year by sticking to my existing plan.

Any thoughts or advice?

$30/month or $300/year, are they insane?? Do they realize that a lot of people using their product are students with no money? I swear a month ago it wasn’t like this, they even had a deal I saw for $50 for 1 year, now the best deal is $150? I’m not going to be using it anymore, and I can’t imagine I’m the only one.

Also, if these have been the prices all along and I’m just stupid, then it’s still an absurd amount when I can just hop over to YouTube for free. Throw some ads onto the free version or something, idc, I just wanna learn SQL

When googling this question, I found that DataCamp has offered subscription discounts for the new year in the past. One website stated usually goes from after Christmas and around a week into the new year, while another website said this year DataCamp would have their discounts starting on the 7th or so and go for a week?

Hey, guys. I am a full stack developer looking to upskill myself in AI and ML. I have heard of and read about DataCamp before. Currently, its premium subscription is on sale, so I am considering buying it to learn and earn certificates.

Those of you who have used it before, can you share your thoughts on the quality of its courses or suggestions for any better alternatives?

Thanks in advance!

Is DataCamp annual subscription really worth to buy?
April 17, 2024 - I don't have the data to back up my statement but Datacamp (as well as almost every other similar platforms) have promos running majority of the days in a year. Currently, there is a 50% off PROMO running in Datacamp. Where are you from? Edit: I think there is no discount for monthly plan but ...

r/DataCamp on Reddit: Is the yearly subscription worth it for students?
October 17, 2022 -

I have been lurking around datacamp for some time, but it's a shame there is like no 14 days/month trial or something, because the price is a little bit too high for me.

I hate R studio, but I think if I learn it and understand it, I will hate it less. I know that DataCamp has occasionally promotion and offers a student discount, but the full (normal) price is now £119/year and for students £117... so it's not really discount.

Should I go for it?

From what I see in this thread with the OP u/GreyCoyoteX quoting prices of GBP 117 / year and u/Tyszq quoting prices of USD 69 / year, it seems like DataCamp might perhaps be adopting a policy of localized prices. I am in India and on their promo page I see their October discount to sign up for USD 49 / year. For what it's worth, you can try here: https://www.datacamp.com/promo to see if you get the same offer. Do check out the GitHub Global Campus: https://docs.github.com/en/education/explore-the-benefits-of-teaching-and-learning-with-github-education/github-global-campus-for-students/about-github-global-campus-for-students Along with it comes the GitHub Student Developer Pack: https://education.github.com/pack This gives you a truckload (possibly a convoyload) of free stuff and offers, including 3 months free of DataCamp. From what I gather, you'll need to fill out an application form that takes about 2 weeks to process, including your student ID details etc. for them to verify. All you need is to: Be currently enrolled in a degree or diploma granting course of study such as a high school, secondary school, college, university, homeschool, or similar educational institution Have a verifiable school-issued email address or upload documents that prove your current student status Have a GitHub Personal Account Be at least 13 years old Hope this helps, my friend. Rock on! (EDIT: Typo corrected.)
